Reformed Studies - we have completed Unit 7 Paul's first and second missionary journeys. Students are working on an assignment due for Monday, May 16
Math - 6.8 was a hand in.
6.9 Using equations to solve problems
1. Write what you know (WWYK) in short form.
2. Write what you need to know. Use let statements. When 2 unknowns make the variable about the unknown you know the least about, and the other unknown in relation to the first. Eg if length is 5 m more than the width --> Let w represent the width, Let w + 5 represent the length.
3. Change what you know into an algebraic equation.
4. Solve the equation.
5. Write a therefore sentence.
Read the examples on p. 190-91 and do Q#1-8
