Reformed Studies - students should have completed answering the question on the handouts and today were filling in their expository template.  When that is complete they will begin writing their essay.

Math - time for review p. 74-75.  Students are to choose at least 1 question out of each section.  Do lots of word problems!!!!

Reformed Studies - students worked on answering the questions on the 2 BLMs Unmasking False Teachers.  When completed students were able to get laptops to work on typing their essays on this topic, fully including their understanding of Gnosticism.

Math - Dividing Rational numbers 2.8 #3-37 odd; Adding/Subtracting Rational Numbers 2.9 #1-35 odd

ELA - students must have the following:

  1. I am David assignment
  2. Map
  3. Timeline
  4. Notes taken while reading the novel
  5. Character sketch ideas from the "short story unit"
  6. Character sketch assgt
  7. Expository template completed
Once the expository template has been completed, students may begin working on their essay.

Science - Reflecting Light off Surfaces p. 281 #1-4,6; p. 283 #1,2,3a,4,5

Reformed Studies - we have now completed Unit 5 lessons and students are working on an assignment/test.  The first part of the assgt is to read all the information on Gnosticism (assgt handout and handout from lessons) to answer the questions on 2 sheets: Unmasking False Teachers.  Once they have completed the answers, the students must then use that information to write an essay, 700-1200 typed words, about this topic.  This essay must include an introductory, 2-3 body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph.  Once the essay is complete, students will work on making a hymn from a section(s) from the Gospel of John 14-17 and/or 1,2,3 John.

Math - 2.7 #4-28 even.  Students are to do as much as possible without calculators.
