1.  Write what you know (WWYK) in short form.
2.  Write what you need to know.  Use let statements.  When 2 unknowns make the variable about the unknown you know the least about, and the other unknown in relation to the first.  Eg if length is 5 m more than the width -->  Let w represent the width, Let w + 5 represent the length.
3.  Change what you know into an algebraic equation.
4.  Solve the equation.
5.  Write a therefore sentence.

Reformed Studies - we have now completed Unit 5 lessons and students are working on an assignment/test.  The first part of the assgt is to read all the information on Gnosticism (assgt handout and handout from lessons) to answer the questions on 2 sheets: Unmasking False Teachers.  Once they have completed the answers, the students must then use that information to write an essay, 700-1200 typed words, about this topic.  This essay must include an introductory, 2-3 body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph.  Once the essay is complete, students will work on making a hymn from a section(s) from the Gospel of John 14-17 and/or 1,2,3 John.

Math - 2.7 #4-28 even.  Students are to do as much as possible without calculators.

Reformed Studies - We started Unit 4: The End Period of Christ's Ministry Lesson 1 today.  Students must finish the questions 1-4, as well as think about what they learned about Self, Others and God's Plan of Salvation through Jesus in this lesson.

ELA - editing character sketch from the story they read individually

Social Studies - finished looking at the early history of the Fertile Crescent of Mesopotamia region with lesson on Persia.  Students given a handout on researching what this area looks like today.
