Math - started a new chapter on Patterns & Relations
algebraic expression - has terms with variables (letters) in them --> 3x + 2
term - number times a variable --> 3x
substitution - replacing a variable with a number  (use brackets)
              3x +2                       x= -2
            =3(-2) + 2
            = -6 + 2
            = -4
When writing an expression use a let statement to show what your variable represents.
eg.  the length plus seven
Let l represent the length
expression --> l + 7
         Homework 5.1 #2,6,10,14,18,22,26,30,34,38,42,46,50,54,58,60

Social Studies - complete the review assignment, study for test tomorrow.

Social Studies - continued working on answering questions

Science - Lab: Liquids can be thick or thin.  Due for Wed Apr 13.  Include questions p. 93#1,2 and p. 95 #1-4 in the Conclusion.
